Mission of the project

We are committed to growing community gardens and donating the gardens’ harvests to those in need.

We are committed to educating community members with a living outdoor classroom.

We are committed to supporting local growers by educating the community on the importance of fresh, local food for our health and the region’s economy.

Elk Garden

Nestled on a quiet property off Coteau Rd., this garden features multiple raised garden beds, a pollinator garden and citrus trees.

Library Garden

Located in the heart of Houma, this garden contains 25 beds sponsored by local groups and businesses and a flourishing pollinator garden.
